Finding Forever is the 7th album from rapper Common, and was his first to hit number one on the Billboard Charts. Finding Forever was released by Geffen on July 31, 2007 and was primarily produced by Kanye West. Much of the album was recorded while Common was filming for his roles in "American Gangster" and "Smokin' Aces."
