Taylor Alison Swift was born December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She began performing at a very early age as well as writing songs. Her first single, "Tim McGraw," was released in the summer of 2006. Later that same year her self titled debut album was released. Hit singles followed. Her second full length album Fearless was released in the fall of 2008 and debuted at number one on the Billboard album chart. Swift began her career as more of a country singer, but gradually moved to a more mainstream pop style.
