Artists United Against Apartheid was a protest group formed by Steven Van Zandt and record producer Arthur Baker to protest apartheid in South Africa. Musicians participating included Grandmaster Melle Mel, Bob Dylan, Pat Benatar, Herbie Hancock, Ringo Starr, Peter Gabriel, Jackson Browne, Bono, George Clinton, Keith Richards, and many more.
